Royal Roots Creative is a children’s book brand creating diverse, culturally rich stories that affirm identity, celebrate heritage, and inspire confidence in young readers. Our collection features empowering picture books and chapter books centered on Black history, African queens, and meaningful storytelling for children ages 5–12.

Each book is intentionally written to help children see themselves reflected in powerful ways, while also learning about culture, history, and purpose. From Zola’s Crown to future titles within the Zola Universe, our stories are designed to nurture self-worth, spark imagination, and support literacy through representation.

At Royal Roots Creative, we believe children’s books should do more than entertain. They should teach, affirm, and inspire. Through diverse children’s literature, we are building a legacy of stories that help every child understand who they are, where they come from, and who they are becoming.
